If I was to analyze my writing, it would be a critical decision to say that it strives to be blunt. I enjoy sharp endings and assertions. To counter, however, I often use layered clauses that cause the reader to get lost, and have received a variety of feedback that such a method to express ideas is more counterproductive than anything else.
